'STEWART 2'
Jackie Stewart won the first race he campaigned in the Tyrrell 003, the 1971 Spanish Grand Prix. Designed by Derek Gardner, shared a number of similarities with the Tyrrell 001 and 002, but was longer and narrower.
While both Ferrari and Lotus struggled throughout the 1971 season, Tyrrell and Stewart won six races, with the Scotsman claiming his second World Championship, his first achieved in 1969 with Matra Ford. As well as his victory in Spain, Stewart went on to win in Monaco, France, Britain, Germany, and Canada.
‘STEWART 1’ is presented as an original 900mm x 600mm print on aluminium in a limited edition of 25 pieces, signed and numbered by the artist.
